1. No other gods:
This is a protestant Christian server; while other faiths are tolerated, and respectful debate/ questions are encouraged, we do not allow the promotion of any other faith, links to their materials are not allowed unless you have dm'd the mods and they approved - this includes but is not limited to: atheism, Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Judaism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Islam, etc...
2. NO PICTURES OF JESUS:
or any other members of the Trinity. We are strict on this rule, as there are many here (mods included) who believe that images of the Godhead violates the second commandment.
3. Don't take God's name in vain:
Using God's name in vain and blaspheming will not be tolerated. Use appropriate language and behavior.
4. Honor the Sabbath and Keep it Holy:
Between the hours of 9am-2pm central time on Sunday we ask that you limit your posts to "Happy Lord's Day," emergencies, and Prayer request's only. We take Church and Sabbath seriously here and ask that you respect that.
5. Honor Thy Mods and Admins:
They’re not perfect, but they work hard - so have some respect for them.
6. No toxic behavior:
if someone asks you to stop and you do not, you will be timed out. Especially note Prayer requests channel is sacred, Do not joke/ mess around in it and don't use it as a place to make your theological points. Just a prayer/ praise request is sufficient.
7. No indecent content:
Sexual content of any kind, whether pictures, jokes, or links will result in a ban from this server. Questions about sex, marriage, and Biblical sexuality are allowed as long as you post them in the appropriate place under the heading "theology discussion."
8. Don't plagiarize
Do not claim for yourself what belongs to others... unless it's memes. - but seriously, don't pass off quotes and arguments that others have made as if you are the first one making them. If you want to debate, make claims, or to answer questions, that's fine - use Scripture and/ or cite your sources.
9. Do not lie:
Jokes are all well and good, but to bear false witness and drag others down is not tolerated.
10. Do not covet:
Do not ask to be a mod or admin. Also do not promote yourself or ask mods to promote you. If you wish to share some of your material that you think will benefit others, dm a mod and ask first.
